As long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to the arts, whether it be music, art, dance or theater. Throughout my childhood and high school years I found myself in drawing or painting classes. In college, my exploration of arts moved away from art-making to the study of art history and museums. My career path took me to work in academic art galleries and as much as I loved working with other artists and being surrounded by beautiful art, I missed working with my hands. I find joy in creating beautiful objects that also have an association with a memory—something homemade. In turn, this led me to jewelry design. A s an artist and jewelry designer, I use color to evoke a particular mood. Color changes the way we feel and react in different situations. I have found wearing specific colors can be empowering and can inspire my overall mood and creativity. By choosing a certain color pattern in my designs, these colors represent something different to each and every person. I hope that this handcrafted jewelry will bring joy and positive vibes to your life. My main goal is for everyone who orders and receives our unique jewelry is to put a smile on your face and feel all the love that was put into creating these jewelry pieces. MyBeadedConnection offers tips on how to care for your new, unique, handcrafted jewelry! These tips will help maintain your jewelry to look its best! Beaded earrings and bracelets were designed with love and care. Product Care Your handcrafted jewelry were designed with lots of love and care. Just by following these few steps, will help maintain your handmade jewelry looking its best. Please note that all metals used in creating these jewelry pieces are hypo-allergenic and nickel/lead free. The jewelry wire is coated silver and clasps/hardware are either silver or gold plated and are subject to tarnish. Memory wire is either silver plated or gold plated and will likely tarnish over time. Never force a bracelet onto your wrist. Our beaded bracelets are sized between 8"- 8 1/2" long. There are multiple jump rings added to adjust the size appropriate for your wrist. Our wrap bracelets are made with memory wire which means they will expand to fit your size wrist! Always store your beaded bracelets separately, especially wrap bracelets, This allows them not to compress into one another nor get tangled or broken. The best way to store your beaded jewelry is to hang them on hooks, a jewelry tree or bracelet bar. Always remove jewelry before swimming, doing household chores, bathing or using abrasive chemicals. Chlorinated and salt water will affect the finish of your jewelry! Please remember that exposure to moisture will affect the finish of your jewelry, especially silver/silver plated items- they will likely tarnish. Remove jewelry before going to bed. If your jewelry requires cleaning, use a polishing cloth. If it needs further cleaning use mild dish soap and water. Rinse off and pat dry. Make sure your colorful beaded jewelry is completely dry before storing in a safe place. We hope that with these tips, you will keep your handmade jewelry looking its best!
